This Foundation in Emotional Intelligence course investigates what emotional intelligence is and what it is not. Within the course, some models of emotional intelligence are explored considering what they mean and how you can apply them at work.

Ways to develop emotional intelligence are explored along with a variety of techniques that you can use immediately to work with emotional intelligence.

This foundation course will give you some insights BUT developing your emotional intelligence will take you time and a lot of effort, and even then you are not going to get it right all the time!!

How is the Course Delivered?

The Foundation in Emotional Intelligence online course is delivered using our online learning platform that gives you the flexibility to study when and where you wish. You will have access to a range of learning materials on the learning platform, along with online video tutorials, quizzes, practical activities and some fun material - including series of complimentary crib cards. 

You will have the chance to discuss and debate your findings around your emotional intelligence in group discussions with others studying the same programme as you. You will be supported throughout by internationally renowned emotional intelligence coach, trainer, and facilitator - Robin Hills.

The Foundation in Emotional Intelligence course contains full course notes and several practical activities to put into practice and apply your learning. 

These practical activities are completed a as part of the Foundation in Emotional Intelligence course. They are designed to help you to investigate how you view your emotional intelligence and how others view your emotional intelligence. 

The activities involve some engagement and interaction with other people and some reflection. They will help to guide you on what and how you need to change.

The Foundation in Emotional Intelligence course contents are continually being refined and updated to ensure they remain current and relevant.

What is the Duration of the Course?

You have lifetime access to the Foundation in Emotional Intelligence course material so that you can work through the course at your own pace  and return to it at any time in the future. 

The course is equivalent to 6 hours CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and because it is so flexible, you can work within your own timeframe.

How with my Certificate be Awarded?

Your Certificate will be awarded on successful completion of the course.  This includes watching all the video lessons, completing the quizzes, and downloading the resource material. 

There is no requirement for the practical activities and assignments to be formally assessed.
